Dr. Yaremchuk has a national and international reputation as both a clinical surgeon and an educator. He has received numerous awards and honors in the field of plastic surgery. Dr. Yaremchuk lectures nationally and internationally to share the breadth of his knowledge. In addition to receiving recognition in "Best Doctors in America" and "Who's Who in America", he was an invited professor at the Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Southern Africa's Annual Congress in 2002. In 2003, he was an invited professor at the Mexican Association of Plastic Surgeons National Congress, and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Annual Meeting. In February of 2004, he was the featured speaker at the Symposium on Facial Contouring and Rejuvenation at the Chang Gang Memorial Hospital, Keelung, Taiwan. Dr. Yaremchuk gave the featured lecture at the 30th Founding Anniversary Symposium of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Korea University in April of 2004. In 2006, Dr.Yaremchuk presented his techniques for periorbital and midface rejuvenation at the Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress in Paris and at the 2006 Madrid International iConference on Plastic Surgery, and at the New York City Aging Face Conference. In 2007, was the invited speaker at the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons annual meeting in Seoul. He was also a special guest speaker at the Buenos Aires Plastic Surgery President's Meeting – XIIth International Symposium of Plastic Surgery “XXI Century”. He spoke on browlift, orbital, midface, facial implant and implant surgery at these meetings. In 2008, Dr. Yaremchuk was the keynote lecturer at the Annual Meeting of the German Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons in Cologne, Germany and the Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Aestheic Plastic Surgery in Hirochima, Japan. Next year, he will be the special guest speaker at the 29th annual meeting of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He will also speak at the first International Meeting on Aesthetic and Reconstructive Facial Surgery that will be held in Greece and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery meeting in Beijing, China. Dr. Yaremchuk has authored three textbooks, 40 book chapters, and more than 100 scientific articles on plastic surgery topics. His most recent book, ATLAS OF FACIAL IMPLANTS was awarded an Association of Medical Illustrators 2007 Award for surgical atlases. |
