These two patients had undergone a sliding advancement genioplasty. They were displeased with the step-off at the site of the chin osteotomy. This created a separation between the chin prominence and the rest of the mandible. This deformity was corrected by placing custom carved implants at the sites of depression to provide a smooth chin/mandible transition.
